Customs Notification No  52/2004 dated 31/03/2004
SEZ implementation further postponed to May 1, 2004

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act,1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), vide No. 115/2003-CUSTOMS, dated the 22nd July, 2003, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide G.S.R.574 (E), dated the 22nd July, 2003, namely :-

In the said notification, in the paragraph 2, for the figures, letters and words,“1st day of April, 2004” , the figures, letters and words “1st day of May,2004” shall be substituted.

Customs Notification No 51/2004 DATE 31/03/2004

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) of section 3A of the Customs Tariff Act,1975 (51of 1975), the Central Government, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), vide No. 114/2003-CUSTOMS, dated the 22nd July, 2003, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide G.S.R 573 ( E), dated the 22nd July, 2003, namely:-

In the said notification, in the paragraph 2, for the figures, letters and words “1st day of April, 2004”, the figures, letters and words “1st day of May,2004” shall be substituted.

NOTIFICATION No.  50 /2004-CUSTOMS dated 31.3.2004         

     G.S.R.244   (E).-  In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), read with sub-section (6) of the section 3 of the Customs Tariff Act,1975 (51of 1975),  the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of  the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), vide No. 113/2003-CUSTOMS, dated the 22nd July, 2003, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide G.S.R 572 (E), dated the 22nd July, 2003, namely: - 

     In the said notification, in the paragraph 2, for the figures, letters and words “1st day of April, 2004 ”, the figures, letters and words “1st day of May,2004 ” shall be substituted.
