Appointment of adjudication authorities in various cases

NOTIFICATION  NO. 106/2004  - CUSTOMS ( N.T) dated 23.9.2004
 

       G.S.R.      ( E ).-      In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4  of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Board hereby appoints the officers specified in column (5)  of  the Table below to act in   the matters  specified in  the corresponding entries in columns (2) and (3) of   the said Table  as officers  specified in corresponding entry in column (4) of  the  said  Table  for  the  purpose of  adjudication and investigation of  such matters , namely :-

       G.S.R.      ( E ).-    In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4  of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) read with  section 24  of  the  General Clauses Act, 1897 (10 of 1897), the following amendments in the  notifications specified in column (2) of the Table  below are  made by the  Board , as specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of  the said  Table , namely :-

In the said  notification, for  the words and  brackets, “the  Central Government hereby appoints the Commissioner  of  Central Excise (Adjudication), New  Delhi ”, the following  shall be  substituted, namely:-

   “ the  Board hereby appoints Shri H.K.Mittal, Commissioner of Central Excise (Adjudication), Delhi”.

2/2004-Customs  (N.T), dated  the 2nd  January, 2004 [ G.S.R 5(E),dated the 2nd  January, 2004 ]

  In the said  notification, for  the words  “ the Commissioner  of  Customs , Inland  Container Depot, Tughlakabad, New  Delhi” , the following  shall be  substituted, namely:-

   “Shri H.K.Mittal , Commissioner of Central Excise (Adjudication), Delhi”.

5.       The     principal Notification No.98/2004-Customs (N.T), dated  the  26th August , 2004  was  published  in the  Gazette of  India, Extraordinary Part-II, Section 3, Sub-Section (i), dated  the  26th August  , 2004,  vide   G.S.R 544(E), dated  the  26th August  , 2004.

 

6.       The  principal Notification No.99/2004-Customs (N.T), dated  the  26th August , 2004  was  published  in the  Gazette of  India, Extraordinary Part-II, Section 3, Sub-Section (i), dated  the  26th August  , 2004,  vide   G.S.R 545(E), dated  the  26th August  , 2004.

 

7.       The  principal Notification No.100/2004-Customs (N.T), dated  the  26th August , 2004  was  published  in the  Gazette of  India, Extraordinary Part-II, Section 3, Sub-Section (i), dated  the  26th August  , 2004,  vide  G.S.R 546(E), dated  the  26th August  , 2004.

 

8.       The  principal Notification No.73/2003-Customs (N.T), dated  the  10th September, 2003  was  published  in the  Gazette of  India, Extraordinary Part-II, Section 3, Sub-Section (i), dated  the  10th September, 2003,  vide   G.S.R 724(E), dated  the  10th September, 2003.

11.     The  principal Notification No.33/2004-Customs (N.T), dated  the 17th March, 2004  was published  in the  Gazette of  India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), dated the 17th March, 2004 , vide   G.S.R.197 (E),  dated the 17th March, 2004.

 

 

NOTIFICATION NO.108/2004-CUSTOMS (N.T) dated 23.9.2004 

G.S.R.     (E). - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Commissioner of Central Excise(Adjudication), Delhi to act as   Commissioner of Customs, Inland Container Depot, Tughlakabad, New Delhi and Commissioner of Customs, Air Cargo (Exports), New Delhi   for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to Show Cause Notice pertaining to M/s. Union International Fashions, D-102, Kunwar Singh Nagar, New Delhi, issued, vide DRI.F. No. 23/60/2002-DZU/1400-1403, dated the 31st March, 2004, by the Assistant Director, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Delhi Zonal Unit, B-4,6th Floor, Paryavaran Bhawan, C.G.O.
