Customs Notification No- 17/2006 (NT) dated 23.2.2006
Exchange Rate effective from 1st March, 2006 Relates to export goods
S.O. (E) - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (i) of clause (a) of sub-section (3) of section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No.6/2006-NT-Customs, dated the 25th January, 2006 [S.O.91(E), dated the 25th January, 2006], the Board hereby column (2) of each of Schedule I and Schedule II appended hereto into Indian currency or vice versa shall, with effect from the 1st March, 2006 determines for the purposes of said section relating to export goods, that the rate of exchange of conversion of each of the foreign currency specified in, be the rate mentioned against it in the corresponding entry in column (3) thereof.

Amendment in the Exchange Rate of US Dollar for 1st March, 2006 Relates to
export goods
In the Notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance
(Department of Revenue), No.17/2006-(N.T.)-Customs, dated the 23rd February,
2006, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3,
Sub-section (ii), vide S.O. 243(E), dated the 23rd February, 2006:- In
Schedule-I at Sl. No. 11, rates of US Dollar in Column No. 3 for “44.50” be read
as “44.30”.
