Customs Notification No-03/2007 dated
05.01.2007
Amendments in the
notification related to exemption to specified goods imported under Free Trade
Agreement with Sri Lanka.
{G.S.R…(E) }. – In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of
section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, on
being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby
makes the following further amendments to in the notification of the Government
of India, in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No.
26/2000-Customs, dated the1st March, 2000, number G.S.R.178 (E), dated 1st March
2000, namely: -
In the said notification, in the TABLE, in List 5, for clause 1(a) and entries
thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:-
“(a) goods mentioned in List 2 and 3 and in Notifications No. 60/2000-Customs,
dated the 12th May, 2000 and 2/2007-Customs dated the 5th January, 2007”.

Note: - The principal notification number No 26/2000-Customs, dated 1st March
2000 was published in the Gazette of India vide G.S.R number 178 (E) dated the
1st March 2000 and was last amended by Notification No 128/2006-Customs dated
30th December, 2006 and was published in the Gazette of India vide G.S.R number
789 (E) dated the 30th December, 2006.
