Last date Extended upto 31.3.2002 for exemption of goods intended for donation for the relief and rehabilitation of the people affected by the earthquake in the State of Gujarat

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No.7/2001-Customs, dated the 27^th January, 2001, namely :-

In para 2 of the said notification, for the words and figures “31^st day of July, 2001”, the words and figures “31^st day of March, 2002” shall be substituted.
