Central Excise Notification No- 30/2005-CE dated 05.07.2005
Amendments in the NTF. NO. 62/95, DT. 16/03/1995 (Parts of internal combustion
engines falling under any Chapter)
G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers
conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of
1944) read with sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Additional Duties of Excise
( Goods of Special Importance) Act, 1957 (58 of 1957), the Central Government,
on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby
makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of
India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 62/95-Central
Excise, dated the 16th March, 1995, which was published in the Gazette of India,
Extraordinary vide number G.S.R. 254 (E), dated the 16th March, 1995, namely:-
In the said notification, in the Table, after S.No. 17 and the entries relating
thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely:-

'18. | Parts of internal combustion engines falling under any Chapter | If manufactured by a factory belonging to the Indian Railways, and used for reconditioning internal combustion engines of railway locomotives by the Indian Railways including its undertakings.' |
