Notification No. 28/2001-Central Excise (N.T.)
In
exercise of the powers conferred by rule 57AK of the Central Excise Rules, 1944,
the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public
interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the
notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department
of Revenue), No. 7/2001-Central Excise (N.T.), dated the 1st March, 2001,
namely:-
In the said notification, in paragraph 2,-
(i)
in sub-paragraph (i), in item (b), for the figures and words "40 per cent. of the aggregate", the figures and words "45 per cent. of the aggregate" shall be substituted; and
(ii)
in sub-paragraph (ii), in item (b), for the figures and words "45 per cent. of the aggregate", the figures and words "50 per cent. of the aggregate" shall be substituted.
