Amendment in the notification No. 21/2002-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2002

 

                G.S.R.                     (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest to do so, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 21/2002-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2002, namely:-

 

In the said notification, in the proviso, in clause (c), for the figures and words “1st day of August, 2003”, the figures and words “1st day of October, 2003” shall be substituted;

Amendment in the notification No. 23/2002-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2002

 

G.S.R.    (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, and having regard to the maximum sales-tax, local tax or any other charges for the time being leviable on like goods, on their sale or purchase in India, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the  Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 23/2002-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2002, namely:-

 

In the said notification, in the third proviso, for the figures and words “1st day of August, 2003”, the figures and words “1st day of October, 2003” shall be substituted.
