Customs Notification No- 49/2011 dated 21.06.2011
Amendment in the Notification - as to enhance the extent of Margin of Preference
in respect of specified goods imported from Least Developed Countries of South
Asian Free Trade Agreement (SAFTA).
G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section
25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, on being
satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the
following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in
the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No.107/2008-Customs, dated the
6th October, 2008, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II,
Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R. 718 (E), dated the 6th October,
2008, namely:-
In the said notification, in the Table, in column (4), for the entry "75%",
wherever it occurs, the entry "100%" shall be substituted.
