PUBLIC NOTICE No. 107(RE-2007)/2004-2009 dated 7.02.2008
Amends SION (G7-Finished Leather from Hide of Cow/Buffalo)
 
In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09 and Paragraph 1.1 of Handbook of Procedures (Vol.1), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following additions in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 2004-2009, as amended.

2. In the statement of Standard Input Output Norms (SION) as contained in the Handbook of Procedures (Vol.2), 2004-2009, as amended from time to time, amendments/corrections at appropriate places as mentioned in ANNEXURE "A” to this Public Notice are made.

This issues in public interest.

12 (b)     For Vegetable Tanned Leather Main vegetable tanning agents such as Wattle or Mimosa/Quebracho, Re-tanning agents such as Cutch and supplementary Vegetable Tanning agents such Gambier/Chestnut/Tara/Sumac subject to the condition that Supplementary Tanning Agents such as Gambier, Chestnut, Tara and Sumac shall be allowed a maximum of 30 Kg. 150 Kg.
