Asia-Pacific Trade Agreement (APTA)
In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the
Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby
makes the following amendments in the Handbook of Procedures (Volume-I):
2. In Paragraph 2.21.1 of the Handbook of Procedures, Volume 1, 2004-09, the
name of the Agreement “Bangkok Agreement” stands replaced by the word
“Asia-Pacific Trade Agreement (APTA)”
3. In Paragraph 2.21.1(d) of the Handbook of Procedures, Volume 1, 2004-09, the
name of the Agreement “Bangkok Agreement” stands replaced by the word
“Asia-Pacific Trade Agreement (APTA)” both in the sub-heading and in the
Sub-Para.
4. Consequent upon the above amendment in Paragraph 2.21.1(d), in the heading of
Appendix 4-B of the Handbook of Procedures, Volume I, 2004-09 the words “Bangkok
Agreement” stands replaced by “Asia-Pacific Trade Agreement (APTA)”
This issues in public interest.
