Amendments in Guidelines - Sub section VC of Aayaat Niryaat Form - DEPB
application
In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade
Policy 2004-2009, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the
following amendments in Handbook of Procedures (Vol. I):
2. In the guidelines for the applicants sub section VC of Aayaat Niryaat Form,
pertaining to DEPB application, the existing Sub-para 2 under Paragraph VC shall
be substituted as under :–
“2. Export Promotion (EP) copy of Shipping Bill(s). In case of exports through
notified land customs under Paragraph 4.40 of Handbook of Procedure (Vol.I),
Bill of Exports may be accepted in lieu of Shipping Bill. However, in case of
exports made by Post Parcels / Speed Post Parcel, the following documents shall
be submitted by the applicant :-
(i) Relevant postal receipt.
(ii) Invoice containing the details of the Product Group and the Sl. No. of the
DEPB Schedule duly attested by the Customs.
3. Sl.No.5 of subsection VC relating to application form for DEPB Scheme in the
Aayaat Niryaat Form, stands substituted as follows :-
