Extension in data of shipment for the export of Onion

S.O.(E) In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act,1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with Paragraph 1.3 and 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy,1997-2002 (incorporating amendments made upto 31.3.2001), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the “ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items, 1997-2002 (incorporating amendments made upto 31^st August,1998)” and as amended from time to time:-

2. In continuation of Notification 44 (RE-2001)/1997-2002 dated the 24^th December, 2001 allowing export of a total quantity of 1 lakh (one lakh) MTs. of onion upto 31^st January, 2002, it has been decided to extend the shipment period for export of above quantity of onions upto 31^st March, 2002.
